The top 5 hotels in LA to enjoy the big game

With the big event due to take place on February 13th 2022 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles’ Inglewood district, those lucky enough to obtain a ticket will be clamouring for hot spots to stay nearby. We’ve picked up the top hotels in great locations for the football, to get ready for the occasion in style.

The Hoxton, Downtown LA

The Hoxton is located on Los Angeles' historic Broadway in the city's newly renovated, ten-story Railway Building, a stunning beaux-arts structure dating all the way back to 1922. Inside, a tranquil setting is created by muted sage and cream tones, wood and brass furnishings, and an abundance of plants. On the rooftop, there's a small but nicely built pool, an interesting Peruvian restaurant named Cabra, and panoramic views of Downtown Los Angeles. Additionally, it is located just 11 miles from SoFi Stadium, making it a 22-minute journey to the big event.

Beverly Hills Marriott

The Beverly Hills Marriott, conveniently located only ten miles from the SoFi Stadium, provides football fans large, spacious suites with expansive views of Los Angeles to nap in after the big game. The décor is reminiscent of Hollywood grandeur, with dark wood furnishings, luxurious leather, marble, spa-like bathrooms in neutral shades of silver and beige, and wall art inspired by Los Angeles. The hotel is also within walking distance of several of Los Angeles's biggest sites, so take a stroll to the Hollywood Walk of Fame or Rodeo Drive before returning to the sleek outdoor pool surrounded by towering palm trees for an afternoon.

Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel

The polished but relaxed Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel is positioned directly on Santa Monica Beach, with magnificent ocean views surrounded by the glistening Santa Monica Pier. Additionally, it is well located for football enthusiasts in need of a home base for the big game, being only 13 kilometres from the SoFi Stadium. It's also centrally located for those looking to take in all the city has to offer before and after the football; take advantage of the hotel's complimentary shuttle bus, which drops off and picks up guests throughout Santa Monica, or simply return to the hotel to sip cocktails by the pool and enjoy the sunset next to one of the outdoor fire pits overlooking the waves.

The Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel

Celebrate the big game weekend across the street from Rodeo Drive's upscale shopping, at The Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel. Since 1928, this historic hotel has been a Hollywood institution. When you enter the hotel's marble lobby, which is adorned with extravagant floral arrangements, you immediately feel a sense of old-school grandeur, having walked in the footsteps of Elvis Presley, John Lennon, and Steve McQueen, as well as having been the location for classic films such as Pretty Woman. Fine meals, Ferragamo goods in the baths, great service, and a pool encircled by magnificent cabanas are all on the menu. And, just 11 miles from the SoFi Stadium, it's conveniently located for football, so you can unwind in the opulent spa with a variety of treatments or in your sumptuous suite with some of the best room service in Los Angeles.

Hilton Los Angeles Airport

The Hilton Los Angeles Airport, located just three miles (nine minutes' drive) from the SoFi Stadium, is an excellent alternative for visitors seeking a prime spot near the big event. Apart from being 20 minutes from the beach in downtown Santa Monica and a short drive from Beverly Hills' glamor (the hotel offers car hire for you to get around easily). However, if you're seeking to unwind following the big event, there's plenty to do within the hotel's borders; lay by the minimalist outdoor pool or whirlpool, dine at the Bistro or northern Italian restaurant, Andiamo, or work out in the hotel's expansive fitness centre.

  1. What beautiful hotels! I've never been to LA before but I'd love to go there someday - the Beverly Wilshire is definitely one I'd love to stay at purely because I loved Pretty Woman!
